Live Review Emilia Quinn @ The Brunswick

A trip to Brighton for the final night of the Woman I Am Your first up was the power house that is Emilia Quinn Music in my eyes the future break out artist the new songs that she is writing so unique there’s a reason why she is up for British Country Music Award for Female of the year

the added addition of looper playing the backing tracks for this set while she playes the guitar to her songs just adds another level to her solo performances standing out from the others she took to the stage and there was immediate silence little words from emila keep talking im just setting up but its still silent the set kicked off with three songs on the guitar River & Outlaw , Worse Thank Whisky one of being one of my faves off the medicate EP working perfectly with backing tracks

Outlaw Live at The Brunswick

Worse Than Whisky Live @ The Brunswick

little slide over to the piano and it was on to the power full track the next single that is child ive been previey to a copy of the this track for review purposes you can read it here

a tap of the pedal and where in full swing with the harmonies and the perfection playing lyrics such an honest track the addition backing just brought a whole another emotional level to track witch people will hear on 19th of November

Intro and 30 Second of Child as the magic need to be hidden tell the 19th November (Clip exclusive to this review )

next. Coming back, a new track to me, so fresh she had to have the lyrics written on paper, not that she needed them faultless track thanks to her partner Tammy witnessing her practice it a few days prior and insisting that she play it! its an outstanding song lyrically and musically

30 Second of Coming Back ( Clip Exclusive to this review only )

Back over to the guitar was the Magpies becoming one of my new faves of Emilia having now heard it a few times live the song is love song about her partner tammy a short story before hand of her visiting the brighton lanes and seeing a stuffed two headed magpie before hand and shout from the back of the room we should have brought it from tammy not super stitiouse at all

30 Seconds of Magpies (Clip Exclusive to this review )

it was down to the last 2 tracks on the set list but unfortunately there was only time for one so it was down to us to pick a cheer if you want nothing to loose silence every where then the other choice was High and the biggest cheer from all for it clearly a fave short remark in joking way from Emilia whats wrong with nothing to loose High again perfectly combined with that backing track the perfect opening act for the night tough act for everyone to follow the addition of piano to her most recent sets is an amazing addition this was a first time doing full on uk tour playing the same songs each night and all so her first time playing in Brighton witch should leave her in good stead for hope fully one-day the Emma Moore and Emilia fire and whisky tour be replanned?
