Single Review - Máiréad - Back Another Day

Máiréad Back Another Day starts with a nice peddle steel opening quickly going into steddy strumming in the back ground with Máiréad vocals coming in shortly after with nice short vocal runs from married at the end of each phrase “ Mom Cries It gets better” with vocal run to end and then all of sudden Máiréad vocal raise up and the full on band come in an excellent eclctric guitar slide to enter there loads vocal runs running throght this section up and down runs just amazing after entering short break down with yet more outstanding and different vocal runs featuring some very nice pedal steel flying around in the back ground “ the one with all my heart to stay” what a vocal run leading on to “this olds towns like a post card & times stood steel and nothing ever changed “ two out standing vocal runs and the backing of the band is just outstanding match the delivery so well “there where new lines on your faces and when you smile I see the truning of the page” ending with an incredible elongated vocal run leading into a short breakdown before is back in the full on track this time Máiréad providing the accompanying vocals just reinforce the lyrics so power full the harmnoine runs she doing in the back ground is wow.

Máiréad Back Another Day, what a track Máiréad vocal cut right through and hit the spot; the delivery and band backing is just exceptional; all the different instrument in the background, the vocal runs and the vocal layering towards the end amazing roll on the next release from Máiréad what a way to kick off 2023
