"Unplugged Magic: Last Night's Intimate Gig Sets the Stage for Emilia Quinn's Upcoming Tour!"
"What a night last night! I caught Emilia Quinn in the smallest room ever for a gig at The Underground in Bradford. It was a short 4-hour drive to get there, but I knew I wasn't going to miss this one. The room was so small that she played completely unplugged, treating us to some older songs, especially from the masterpiece that is the 'Medicate' EP, and brand new cuts off the forthcoming debut record out next month. It was a real treat to hear them raw.
There were magical moments where everyone was singing along as it was a very intimate setting, one of you where everyone joined in on such raw emotional song. Then, there's 'Rosemary Beads,' a tender song about her granddad. There's a song called 'Mountains,' and if you're not tearing up after hearing it, you must be made of stone. It was just played on the piano, and I was choked up hearing it, even though I've heard it once before. You can't attend an Emilia Quinn gig and not have Tammy heckle before the last song, 'Back Roads,’ freddy murcry would be Turing in his grave its that good and the best song on the album is going to be daddys little girl, but only because it's my favorite!
Do I dare call myself a superfan? The guy next to me came and talked to me after, as I was talking to Emi, and he knew all the words to every song but in the wrong key. I'll have to try harder next time! One great thing that has been happening in the last few weeks is people noticing the T-shirt and asking, 'Are you the guy that runs that? I watch a lot of your videos.' It's only been about 5 years since I caught her live, supporting Katy Hurt in London, and 3 years since the first-ever band show. Now, she's going on tour next month with her full band. I urge everyone to check her out live. The stage presence and the grip she has on you with every single vocal note are extraordinary. There are very few artists who can captivate you like that, from the edgy sound to the solo piano moments and the full-on band. It's a tour not to be missed. I've got lots of incredible footage that I'll share after the tour, and to avoid spoilers.
She's currently my most-watched artist, and that will surely rise into double digits as I'm doing the whole tour with a few others. See you there to catch this future superstar? She won't be playing venues like this for much longer.
Catch her on tour 14-19th of November
P.S. Let the battle commence, 'Tamography' – my footage vs. Tam's – in an editing battle of the night. Who will win?"
